Discovering Nashik

Nashik, an important mythological, historical and cultural town, is in the northwest of Maharashtra state, 180 km from Mumbai and 220 km from Pune. It is also known for the hindu temples on the banks of the Godavari. According to Hindu mythology Lord Rama was staying few years during his fourteen years long exile.
This is my tribute to the holy life of Nashik.

I will be happy to hear from you. Feel good or worse? Comment it.

On our way to Pune

Last Saturday we all went to Pune. During our our journey Abhishake and I snapped some pictures. I selected some of good amongst them(though most of them are of no use).

Picture of a old man, snapped from our bus window near Lonavla,a very nice hill town. This is my first GIMPed picture. Background has been selectively posterized keeping the subject in monochrome. Download moderate resolution picture from here.
